General

COPFCU has partnered with Joeseph Duffey of Everest Financial, Inc. Joe and the team at Everest offer a comprehensive suite of financial services to assist you including financial planning, college funding plans, wealth management, estate planning services, investment analysis and more.

If you’d like to set an appointment at a branch for a specific purpose, it’s best to speak with a Representative to ensure that the appropriate team member is available to assist you.

Yes, we offer notary services to our members free of charge. While we have notaries at each location, please call us to verify that a notary is available when you will be stopping by. Lunch breaks, vacations and absences due to illness can affect availability.

To send a wire transfer, you will first need to complete the Outgoing Wire Transfer Form. Submit the form using our Secure Document Upload Portal. Please note that there are fees to send an Outgoing Wire Transfer.

To receive an Incoming Wire Transfer to your account, first provide the wire sender with the Incoming Wire Transfer Instructions. The sender will need these instructions to ensure that your wire funds are received without issue. Please note that there are fees to receive an Incoming Wire to your account.

Membership

You can join the credit union by completing the online membership application at copfcu.com/join or by visiting any COPFCU location.

Please note: You will need to meet the eligibility requirements for becoming a member. View our eligibility requirements at copfcu.com/eligibility.

You must belong to one of the following groups to join COPFCU:

  • Police officers, sheriffs, law enforcement and support staff
  • Firefighters, EMTs and support staff
  • Local, state and federal government employees
  • Public school employees
  • All other public servants in the Greater Cincinnati area
  • Employees of any organization that receives taxpayer funding or government funding for its operations
  • Students, parents and alumni of Northwest Local School District
  • Students, parents and alumni of Winton Woods City Schools
  • Family members of current members

If your eligibility is by occupation, your employment must be in one of the following counties:

  • Ohio: Hamilton, Butler, Warren, Clermont
  • Kentucky: Boone, Campbell, Grant, Kenton
  • Indiana: Dearborn

Yes. It’s easy to transfer funds to another member in Online Banking and the Mobile App. You’ll need the other member’s account number, 3-digit suffix and the first 3 letters of their last name. In the “Transfer to” dropdown box, select Another Member and fill in the account number, suffix and first 3 letters of the last name.

You can update your contact information right inside Online/Mobile Banking. Click the person icon in the upper right-hand corner, then click Personal Information to update your details.

COPFCU offers a wide variety of rewards programs for members, including Rewards Plus and Visa ScoreCard Rewards.

Rewards Plus

The Rewards Plus program is a loyalty rewards program that all members participate in. The more accounts, loans, and services you have, the more points you’ll earn—bringing you closer to exclusive perks! At the end of each month, your total points balance determines your Rewards Plus status for the following month—Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Basic—unlocking enhanced benefits and savings.

Benefits include:

  • Loan rate rebates up to -0.50% on your Vehicle & Personal Loans
  • Deposit rate bonuses up to +0.25% on Money Market & Certificates
  • Redeem points to receive free Wire Transfers, NSF refunds, waived loan application fees, free checks and more.

Visa ScoreCard Rewards

This program rewards members for using their COPFCU Visa Platinum Rewards credit card. Through this program, you earn 1 point for every $1 purchased with the card. Points add up quickly and members of the same household can combine points to maximize benefits.

Points can be redeemed for:

  • Fuel Purchases – Save up to $.50 per gallon when using your card at Citgo, BP, Amoco, Murphy USA and Shell
  • Walmart, CVS and Walgreens Purchases – Save up to $10 instantly when you use your card at checkout.
  • Travel – Airline tickets, cruise vacations, hotel stays, rental cars, etc.
  • Electronics – TVs, computers, tablets, sound bars, etc.
  • And much more!

Accounts

Your account numbers are available in Online/Mobile Banking. Simply select the account, then click Account Details.

To setup Direct Deposit to your COPFCU account(s), you will need to contact your employer’s payroll department. Use this Direct Deposit Form to get the process started.

Your can find your account number inside Online Banking or the Mobile App. Select the account, then click Account Details, then More Account Details. Your account number will be listed at the bottom.

You can deposit a check to your account using a variety of options:

  • Mobile Check Deposit in the Mobile App – You can deposit checks inside the Mobile App. Select the deposit icon at the bottom of the app screen, then follow the prompts.
  • Visit a COPFCU Branch – You can visit any COPFCU branch to deposit a check. Find the branch nearest you here.
  • Visiting a Credit Union Shared Branch – You can visit a Co-op Credit Union Shared Branch to deposit a check. You will need your account number and a valid government ID to make the deposit. Find the closest Credit Union Shared Branch here.
  • Deposit to a PNC ATM – For added convenience, we partner with PNC for ATM check and cash deposits. Find a PNC ATM that accepts deposits here.

Please note that check deposits made through any of these methods may be held.

The easiest way to get a copy of your statement is through Online Banking or the Mobile App. These digital banking systems store 18 months of your statements and tax forms.

If you need a statement that is older than 18 months, please contact the Member Support Center at 1-800-810-0221.

You can request to have one or more accounts closed by visiting any COPFCU location or by completing our Account Closing Request Form.

You can get a copy of your Form 1098 and 5498 inside Online Banking and the Mobile App. You’ll find these under the menu titled “eStatements & Tax Forms.”

Please note that no 1099 form is issued to report dividends earned. Instead, you will find this information located on your December year-end statement.

Lastly, if you earned less than $10.00 in dividends on your accounts with us, we are not required to report this information to the IRS.

Loans

There are 3 different ways to pay your COPFCU loan through Online/Mobile banking:

  • Transferring funds from a COPFCU account (free)
  • Paying by debit card from another bank account (fees apply)
  • Paying by ACH withdrawal from another bank account (free)

Simply select the loan you wish to pay, then select the payment option that best fits your needs.

To get the payoff amount for one or more loans, complete the online Loan Payoff Request Form. A COPFCU Loan Officer will reach out with your official payoff amount.

Digital Banking

Yes. It’s easy to transfer funds to another member in Online Banking and the Mobile App. You’ll need the other member’s account number, 3-digit suffix and the first 3 letters of their last name. In the “Transfer to” dropdown box, select Another Member and fill in the account number, suffix and first 3 letters of the last name.

As a new member, it’s easy to setup your Online or Mobile Banking. First, setup Online Banking at copfcu.com. Click the green Online Banking bar, then click First Time User. Follow the prompts to from there.

Once Online Banking is setup, download the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.

If you can’t login to Online or Mobile Banking, reset your password at copfcu.com. Click the green Online Banking bar, then click Forgot Password.

You can deposit a check to your Savings or Checking account securely using the Mobile App. Simply click the Deposit icon at the bottom of the home screen and follow the prompts. Your deposit may be placed on hold due to the dollar amount, type of check, etc.

Check deposits are not available in the Online Banking system.

Cards

To activate your MasterCard Debit Card or Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card, call the activation line at 1-866-762-0558. You will need to call from the phone number registered with the card and use the Primary Cardholder’s information to activate the card.

During this process, you will also be prompted to set your PIN for the card. Simply follow the prompts to activate the card and set your PIN.

To change the PIN on your card, call the PIN change line at 1-866-762-0558. You will need to call from the phone number registered with the card and use the Primary Cardholder’s information to verify identity.

Submit your travel notice through our Online Travel Notice Form.

If your card isn’t working, it’s best to contact our Member Support Center at 1-800-810-0221. They’ll help diagnose the issue quickly and efficiently.

You can receive a replacement Visa Credit Card and Standard Debit Card instantly by visiting our Blue Ash, Colerain or Queensgate branches.

Please note that HSA Debit Cards are not available in our branches. These cards must be ordered and mailed to you.

All COPFCU MasterCard debit cards feature the following limits.

  • ATM Withdrawals & PIN Purchases – $2,000 total daily limit
  • Signature / Credit Purchases – $2,000 total daily limit

COPFCU members can use ATMs at PNC Bank, through Co-op Shared Branching and the Alliance One ATM network.

Co-op Shared Branching and Alliance One ATMs are always surcharge-free. The number of free transactions at PNC Bank will vary based on your Rewards Plus status:

  • Basic – 6 Free transactions per month
  • Silver – 8 Free transactions per month
  • Gold – 10 Free per month
  • Platinum – 15 Free per month

You can make cash and check deposits for free at any PNC Bank ATM that accepts deposits. Find a PNC ATM now.

Yes, you can unlock your card(s) at any time as long as the card hasn’t been permanently deactivated by our team.

Yes, you must still call the Lost/Stolen line to have the card permanently closed. No transactions can be performed while the card is locked, but it must still be closed.

You can request a credit limit increase any time by completing the Card Limit Increase Form.
