Online Privacy and Security
COPFCU is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our members’ personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we collect, how we use and protect that information, and the choices individuals have regarding their personal information.
USA Patriot Act
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money-laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
Protecting Children’s Privacy Online
View COPFCU’s Children’s Privacy Policy. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) was passed by Congress in October 1998, with a requirement that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issue and enforce rules concerning children’s online privacy.
