Receive Improved Benefits with Rewards Plus

More ways to earn rewards

On April 1st, 2024, the Member Rewards program will transition to a new, improved program called Rewards Plus. With Rewards Plus, you’ll earn points for every account, loan and service you use with COPFCU. At the end of the month, your total points balance will determine your Rewards Plus status for the following month — Platinum, Gold, Silver or Basic.

Points accumulate and grow

But that’s not all. We’ve added a whole new level of benefits that are the “Plus” in Rewards Plus. The points you earn each month will accumulate for up to 36 months. As your points grow, you can redeem them for a variety of items like a box of free checks, to waive a loan skip-a-payment fee or even to refund an overdraft fee.

To learn more about how you earn points, the full benefits of each Rewards Plus status as well as what your points can be redeemed for, watch the videos below or view the accompanying guides.

FAQs

Where can I see my status and available points?

You can see your current status level (Platinum, Gold, Silver or Basic) and your total available points inside Online and Mobile Banking.

In Online Banking, click Rewards Plus in the Quick Access menu in the top left corner.

In Mobile Banking, click More in the bottom right corner then click Rewards Plus.

If status level is based on the points I earn, why is my status level higher than the points I actually earned?

If your status level (Platinum, Gold or Silver) is higher than the points you actually earned in a given month, this is normally because your membership is householded. With householding, memberships that share the same physical address are put into one household. With Rewards Plus, the membership that earns the highest number of points and therefore the highest status level will share that status with all other memberships in that household. It’s just one more way we give back to our members and their families.

It’s important to note that even though the status level will be shared with all the memberships under a single household, the points earned and accumulated for a membership are based on that membership’s accounts, loans and activity.

How do I redeem my points?

You can redeem your points a few different ways:

 – Online Banking:  Log into Online Banking and select Redeem Points from the Quick Access menu in the top left corner. Follow the prompts to submit your redemption request.

 – Mobile Banking:  Log into Mobile Banking and click More in the bottom right corner. Next, click Redeem Points and follow the prompts to submit your redemption.

Do points expire?
